A square glazed earthenware tile depicts a seated Maya Indian smoking a cigar, with text and a date glyph molded into the design. Square tile. Variegated brown and fubb. Molded design shows seated Maya Indian facing left, smoking large "cigar". Name of title at left and a "date glyph" of bars and dots at right. "SMO/KING" molded at upper left corner; "TOBACCO" molded vertically along left edge. Museum purchase from the Misses Hewitt Fund
