A single armchair with dark wood frame and red and gold floral upholstery is shown against a plain gray background. A) Upholstered, laminated rosewood back, topped by carved flowers-and-fruit garland. Back frame formed of inverted U-shaped scroll at top and serpentine section at bottom. Serpentine arms join back frame with scroll. Upholstered spring seat on rosewood frame; serpentine seat front with carved flowers in center and at join of arms and forelegs. Cabriole forelegs with carved acanthus leaf between small scrolls on foot; reverse curve back back legs; casters. B) The same. Gift in memory of Julia M. Halleran by her children
