A closed-arm upholstered sofa with a gilded, contour-edged exposed frame and multicolored pastel silk needlepoint upholstery depicting floral motifs. Closed arm upholstered sofa with exposed frame which is contour-edged and gilded. Slightly arched and curved back rail with down-curved “ears”; out-curving arms; exposed narrow vertical supports between back and seat rails; two front legs terminate in gently pointed contour-edged feet on small supports; two square rear legs which curve outward and have slight molding on the outer surface. Multicolored pastel silk needlepoint upholstery on ivory ground depicting vase, round stylized flowers, leaves and vines. Given by Mrs. Peter J. Perry
