Marble
This is a marble bust of a young man with short hair and a mustache. The bust is presented against a plain gray background. Portrait head of a young man with short, thick hair combed forward and to the left. His sideburns are long and wavy and he has a closely cropped mustache. The face is round and full with a slightly furrowed brow. He has almond-shaped eyes with incised irises and pupils that gaze upwards and to the left. He has a small mouth, full lips and a pronounced nose. The face is very well preserved although the head is broken off at the neck and the back is missing from behind the left ear to before the right ear. The back of the head was added as a restoration in the nineteenth century. There is a round fill on the top of the head. Frel, Jir
