A rare, personal keepsake album comprising portraits and views of the Uttar Pradesh region of India (Upper Punjab district included). Mounted on different colored leaves are sketches, engravings, ink manuscript prose and blank verse, plus one original pencil drawing dated 1845 (Per Roger Taylor 7/8/04). The subjects of the photographs are temple architecture, topography, and portraiture. Several objects are laid in. Also, two pages of autographs, presumbly by the creator(s) of the album. There are several original watercolors included as well. 44 total objects within the album.
