<p>Author and professor of politics Brian Alexander will discuss the groundbreaking research he conducted at the Library of Congress during the writing of his new book, “Thomas Jefferson’s Manual of Parliamentary Practice” (2025). Professor Alexander will give a brief presentation to introduce his book followed by a conversation-style interview with a member of the Rare Book and Special Collections Division staff. The Library of Congress holds Thomas Jefferson’s copy of The Manual of Parliamentary Practice, including his handwritten notes and revisions in the book’s margins.</p>
