This is a replica of a red phoenix painted on the right side of the entrance to the burial chamber of the Seongchong Tomb in Sinryeong-ri, Nampo, Pyeongannam-do in North Korea. The red phoenix faces east, its wings fully spread. A lotus flower is painted on one side of the wall of the burial chamber. The four walls depict the various stages of a person being born from a lotus flower. Accession number: K208
