A carved antler rests on a wooden base. The antler is textured and appears to be a natural form with some carved details. 天然麋鹿角，一端平削，使能橫立案上。角之岐瓣，朵狀轉擺如峰巒起伏，恰可為筆山。木座兩面均刻字填金。其座面隸銘：「茸長八叉老，蛻然去不留，棄從別麋麈，又幾閱春秋。形欲成花朵，堅將變石頭，雅宜供架筆，毛穎本同遊。」印：「乾」、「隆」。座底篆銘：「角僊石友」，印：「 看雲」，及乾隆十六年(1751)楷銘：「今秋行圍木蘭，得此於山中，形如芝，橫列作案頭清供。鹿蛻角乃至變化如此，木變石又不足異矣。乾隆辛未嘉平御識。」印：「比德」、「 朗潤」。 Object number: 故文000138N000000000 Rights: Antler brush rest, The National Palace Museum, Taipei, CC BY 4.0 @ www.npm.gov.tw IIIF manifest: https://digitalarchive.npm.gov.tw/Integrate/GetJson?cid=2425&dept=U
