A clear glass tumbler with a decorative band of interlocking circles around its upper portion sits against a white background. Tumbler, glass, J D Mackey / Co-operative Flint Glass Co, Sydney, Australia, 1880-1935 Tumbler, clear glass (flint glass / lead crystal), mould blown, with a flat circular base and steep sides which flare as they rise to the mouth, the tumbler is decorated with a diamond-point engraved band - fine overlapping circles in a broad band below the rim, the pontil mark in the base has been ground flat and polished. Probably made circa 1900 Part of the contents of the Drummoyne home of J D Mackey. This material was left in situ after his death in 1932 and finally sold at public auction in 1993 under instructions from the Perpetual Trustee
