The unassembled table comprises three parts: (-1) The table top, a flat circular sheet of vacuum formed transparent [polystyrene]. The outer edge angled down. A hole cut in the centre. (-2) The table base, a flat "C" shaped form in concertinaed layers of transparent red coloured high frequency welded PVC plastic sheet. Intended to open out and circle back on itself to create a waisted, mushroom shaped form which when opened reveals a honeycomb structure in the connections of the layers of plastic.
