A sterling silver neckpiece with a rectangular pendant hangs from a curved band. The pendant features a textured surface and a vertical element with a spherical end. Neckpiece, silver, Gordon Andrews, Australia, 1974-1988. The neckpiece is made from five major components, three pieces forming the 'necklace' and two pieces forming the pendant. The 'necklace' is formed from three pieces of forged silver wire, the back piece is curved to go around the back of the neck and has a hook on each end to act as a clasp and attach it to the two side pieces. Each of the two side pieces has a link or loop at either end to attach the pendant at the bottom and the third neck piece at the top.
