The cone shape widens as it rises from the floor to provide a deep, curved back. The front section of the cone has been cut away and a seat formed. The back curves outwards at the top to form an overhanging, everted 'rim'. The seat, the interior surface of the back and the exposed interior of the base are upholstered in a cream-coloured silk brocade that features floral, leaf and f
