Yellow cotton chenille, circle with a slit at the radius, draw string around edge, ties on the reverse, maker's tag on inside edge. Roger McLay designed the cover as an optional addition to his 'Kone' chair, which some retailers found 'a little too spartan'. He wanted a deeply textured effect and originally considered using carpet, but this presented too many difficulties in terms of achieving a good finish at the edges.
