A black, rectangular carrying case for a portable calculator is shown against a white background. The case has a flap closure secured by two dark snaps. A black soft imitation leather carry case / clutch to house the calculator, with stiffening at the base and the top, and press-stud fastenings. The Olivetti Divisumma 18 portable calculator was designed by Mario Bellini. Bellini began consulting for Olivetti (in 1963) as it was making the transition (within its office products division) from designing and manufacturing products that were electro-mechanical to ones that used microelectronic technology.
