A charger made of heavy duty moulded yellow plastic. The charger has been designed to look the same as the calculator so it is seemless when attached to the calculator in use. It has a connection in one end to allow it to connect to the calculator and the separate cord for charging. The Olivetti Divisumma 18 portable calculator was designed by Mario Bellini. Bellini began consulting for Olivetti (in 1963) as it was making the transition (within its office products division) from designing and manufacturing products that were electro-mechanical to ones that used microelectronic technology.
