Two dark wood armchairs with leather seats are shown against a white background. Ladder back chairs with armrests and three back rails. Seats are upholstered in leather. Rectilinear armrests have visible tenon joints at the front and taper slightly towards the back posts. These chairs were designed by Gustav Stickley (1858-1942) and made at The Craftman Workshops in the United States. Stickley was a leading figure in the American Arts and Crafts movement, designing furniture in the style between 1898 and 1916.
