A long, narrow, cream-colored knitted lace scarf with a scalloped, frayed edge and a small hole near the center. The lace features a repeating pattern of small dots and horizontal lines. This lace scarf is knitted from unspun plant fibre. It has a longitudinal series of bands in different patterns. The middle band is made up of a diamond pattern, with each large diamond containing four smaller one. This central band (1) is flanked by bands with the appearance of four holes surrounding a denser area (2). The next pair of bands are relatively broad, with a central area made up of repetitions of an arrangement of four approximately triangular shapes with lacy patterns within and beside them, and flanked by narrow bands of stocking stitch, 5-6 stitches wide (3).
