Marcel Duchamp, the pioneer of the Dada movement, gives this late self-portrait an innovative twist. He makes the image by silk-screening the negative space in blue and allowing the color of the paper to form the shape of the silhouette. Gift of Robert Shapazian Object number 2000.163
