The winning design of a 1941 Victory Loan poster competition which attracted 110 entries. This was originally intended as an extended billboard, but the national War finance Board used it as a wall/window poster. This involved drastic cropping at each end, much to Casson's displeasure. The department of National Defence incorporated his lion in schools presented to churches, schools, and industrial firms. Printed in French as "Donnez-nous les outils et Nous Finiro
